Wizard101: Colors should not be gendered.

Over the years I've always wondered why guys can't dye pink on Wizard101. In my opinion, colors should not be gendered. I've been happy that they've added things like hairstyles that you can chose to be pink or even dye pink, but the problem is that they can't dye their clothes pink. I feel like this is slightly taking away from the ideal way that we are able to express ourselves.

There are actually other ridiculous things that my friends and I have observed. One example would be in one of the Christmas packs where the girls have the pink version of the set and for guys it's light green and blue. Both with the exact same name, but complete opposites.

Elie Wiesel once said,"There may be times when we are powerless to prevent injustice, but there must never be a time when we fail to protest." I feel like this relates to this in a way that alone we can't voice our opinion on this since it's hard to be heard, but we shouldn't let this stop us. Banding together and agreeing that something should change.

It's silly how they've replaced pink for guys as something called "dark orange". I honestly hardly see people dye the color orange in general. For girls there's only orange, but for guys they have "light orange" and "dark orange", which in itself is ridiculous. They made 2 types of orange just to avoid allowing guys to wear pink in their clothes? I understand that back in 2008 that the thought process of guys wearing pink was scandalous somehow, but it's 2016 and things have changed so much. Guys used to be teased and bullied for wearing pink so I understand that it might have been created this way to prevent that from occurring, but I believe all it's doing is encouraging that it's wrong for a guy to wear pink and that it's for girls. All colors should be gender neutral and everyone should be able to wear whatever color they want without feeling like they're doing something wrong and without feeling threatened.

All I would like to ask is that if possible that the color pallets be changed and they start considering the options of keeping colors equal like they should be. I know this seems small compared to other problems, but to me and lots of other people who care about this issue, it's bigger than that. Whether or not you support this is your decision, but I feel like after all this time something should be said instead of pushing it aside and pretending that it's not insane for colors to based on the gender of your character.

Thank you all for you time.
