stop senseless killing of squirrels

this town has this event every year and allows kids 14 and under to be handed guns to go out and slaughter as many defenseless squirrels as they can for money. They can also win assault weapons. The website to see this is http;/holleyfire.com. I am sick of people having events like this that promotes cruelty to animals. and it is cruel beyond words. Why can they give the kids throw away camera's and have them win prizes for best picture. They call this an annual hunt, that it's a sourcr of protein for them and simply a fun filled family day!  I hope others will join in trying to get this stopped. These people are really being barbarac.
