The job of the Attorney General of the United States is to be our nation's lawyer. But Attorney General William Barr has a different goal: to protect Trump at all costs.
Barr is dropping charges against former national security adviser Michael Flynn, the highest-ranking Trump official to plead guilty and cooperate in Robert Mueller's investigation of Russian interference in the 2016 election.
The reversal of a guilty charge is highly unusual (read: corruption) for the Justice Department. And, it's a closely coordinated effort between Barr and Trump to undermine the findings – Trump's complicity – in the investigation.

This isn't Barr's first get-out-of-jail-free card on the Russia investigation. In February, Trump's longtime friend and associate Roger Stone had been recommended a 9-year prison sentence for covering up Trump's crimes – but then, the Justice Department overruled the recommendation and the four prosecutors working on his case quit in protest. Why? How? Trump tweeted and Barr answered.
If Barr isn't interested in upholding justice, he must be removed from the department.
