today I got off work, & came home to some news that really upset me. This guy right here is named Sam Bethea, also known as the "Jesus Saves" man. Theres some really rude people in Charlotte trying to get him to leave his daily spot. If you've ever been at the intersection of Trade & Tryon, you've heard his message. This awesome man is out there EVERYDAY, he doesn't only say "Jesus Saves" though, he is always wishing whoever walks past a wonderful day & saying God bless you. I've seen him for months on my way to & from work, we finally spoke & he makes sure to go out of his way to ask me & my boyfriend how our day is going, fist bumps us, & tells us to keep up the good work. I'm sure he brings joy to ALL people, even those not of the Christian faith. The fact that they are trying to make him leave is just straight up wrong, he's a great person, better than most. I'll be starting an online Please sign it, no matter your faith. This man is just trying to show love & bring a smile to people's faces. He deserves his right to freedom of speech.
