Henry Walker: Accidental Death.

In small towns like Ailey, Higgston, Vidalia and Lyons, the truth can very easily be misconstrued and misunderstood. Drama is a never-ending thing and alot of people in these small towns thrive off of gossip and are more then willing to "feed the frenzy." Small towns breed small minds...I have always found this saying to be offensive because I too am from a small town, but after Henry Walkers death, seeing the aftermath for myself, I understand exactly what they meant when they said that...and Im ashamed of my home town and the way people preach 'Justice!! Murder, murder!' yet seem more then willing to send two other souls to the gallows no questions asked...because they think they know what happened that night even though they weren't there and witnessed nothing...even though they didn't know the people involved and some of you didn't even know the deceased, Henry Walker Jr. I am also very upset with V. Walker the deceased sister ...and how she is acting like a crusader, demanding justice, and acting like her and Henry were close when in fact Henry and his sister did not get along, and V. Walker was constantly causing trouble for Henry...calling the law over minor issues, calling dfcs out of spite, stirring up drama within the family...etc etc. I personally was very close to everyone involved and I can tell you that V. Walker never visited Henry or his daughters, and in fact the last time Henry saw his sister in person, he wished her a happy holiday and stopped so he could speak with her, and not only did she not acknowledge what he said she didn't speak back to him, didn't even look at him..she walked by like he didn't exist. V. Walker was jealous of what Henry had. The land, money, etc. V. Walker feels guilty for how she treated her brother, and is now trying to make up for it in his death. And I'm sure the attention she received after his death only made her go that much harder. But make no mistake Henry and Vivian we're not close. And the campaign she is leading against the accused Jesi Harden and Trey Squires is wrong on so many levels...She didn't even know Harden or Squires for one, and second she is doing it for all the wrong reasons. For her own selfish reasons...soaking up the attention and drama like a dry mop. The point of this petition is to stand up for the falsely accused in the hopes that when the time comes for them to stand in front of a jury of their peers and be judged, that the truth and nothing but the whole truth is told, and that both sides are heard with an open mind and an open heart and not be shrouded by gossip and hateful rumors. That the facts be stated, as is. I happen to know the accused Jesi Harden very well, and know that she not only loved Henry but feels beyond horrible about his death and the fact that she had a part in it, and contrary to what some people are saying, it wasnt MURDER. It was a horrible accident that to this day she has trouble coping with...she told the cops nothing but the truth and that is why they handled her and the situation the way they did...was because all the forensic evidence told them she was telling them the truth. She never once ran from what she accidently did and gave her full coperation every step of the way. I also happen to know that after everything Jesi placed herself in a mental ward...bc she battled with commiting suicide on a daily basis, couldn't get out of bed some days. Not only did she lose one of the closest people to her...the accident also caused her son to be taken from her as well. Reading all the horrible things being said makes my skin crawl and makes me very angry. I hate the fact that Henry is gone, I loved him too, I knew the real Henry. Yes, he was a good man, but he battled with his demons, and like the rest of the human race, he had a darker side. And unlike alot of you I was privy to alot, was present one way or another during Harden and Walker's relationship...Henry was unstable near the end due to a heavy drug addiction that he hid from the world, and not even a week before the accident Henry threatened to commit suicide...in front of his daughters and Jesi's small son. He went as far as to pull his gun out and point it at himself and run out the house, into the woods. His two daughters running screaming behind him begging him to please stop. He carried on this way for over two hours until finally Jesi was able to calm him down. A month before that Henry caught his second oldest daughter having sex with her ex boyfriend in his house and chased the young man out, before retrieving his gun and trying to run him down in a car, swearing up and down he was gonna kill the boy. He carried this on for well over an hour before Jesi and his daughter Alison were able to calm him down....Henry
was too free with his gun and threatening himself and others with it. Where I come from you don't pull a gun unless you are going to use it. Jesi thought him fully capable of it and that night she was scared for her life...the fact is this: Jesi and Trey were the ones who were threatened and pushed into a corner, and as a result a horrible accident occurred. Henry was the one who chose to pursue them. Question: If you had your life threatened tried to run from the one threatening your life, only to end up with a gun pointed to your head (while driving) would you to make the mistake of freezing up and running off the road out of fear...the evidence showed the police that Jesi didn't even hit the brakes...if you were looking in front of you and saw a tree what would you do? Hit the brakes right? Unless you weren't concentrating on the road because you were too concerned about the gun being held to your head...and what the unstable man behind it would do next. Jesi feared for her life and the life of her friend beside her...she had recently caught Henry doing Meth, and as a recovering addict knew all to well how the drug could effect a normally sane person...how no sleep and contionious use could effect a person and there actions...the autopsy proves this as fact...not rumor. After the accident Jesi consisted to a field test and past and also consisted to a blood test. Contrary to what some of you are saying she was the sober one..and Henry was the druggie. After the accident..Jesi went as far as to hide the gun trying to protect Henry from getting in trouble with the law....at the time she had no idea that Henry wouldn't be ok..couldn't phatum that he would end up dying on the operation table four days later...Emily Walker can confirm this because Jesi spoke to her right after the accident Harden told E. Walker not to say anything to the police about the gun, explained to her that she had found it and hid it...and to pass the message along to her younger sister. E. Walker agreed, bc she too wanted to protect Henry from getting in trouble. After his death Jesi had no choice but to come clean about the gun...because people were claiming she murdered him in cold blood. Even after he ran her down and pointed a gun at her head and made her fear for her life and the life of her friend Squires, she still tried to protect Walker from harm...and hid the gun. I'm disgusted by the ones out there claiming that Jesi didn't love Walker...was just using him etc etc. That is far far from the truth. Please sign this petition in favor of the truth..Speak up for the accused..bc although it sucks that Henry is no longer here, Jesi and Squires still are..like it or not, and they are the ones who have to live with what happens next. So at least let the TRUTH factor into their fates...
