Israel Discriminates Against Fellow Jews.

Whereas, the State of Israel was founded in 1948 as a homeland for all Jews around the world,

and whereas, The Israeli Government passed legislation over the years to recognize Orthodox Jews only as Jews and not Jews of other Jewish sects,

and whereas, Conservative and Reform Jewish rabbis have been detained for performing weddings and other Jewish rituals;

therefore, we the undersigned humbly request that the Israeli government respects the human rights of Conservative and Reform Jewish congregations by recognizing them as Jews with equal rights with their Orthodox counterparts and granting their clergy the right to perform wedding and other rituals.
