Regis High School Coeducation Petition

We the signers of this document, in order to make a more just institution, believe that Regis should become coeducational.

As Catholics, we believe in the equality of the sexes, and it is clear there is no equivalent all-scholarship Catholic high school in the Tristate area which young women may otherwise attend. Given that, we believe it is not morally acceptable that we continue to deny young women a free Catholic education solely on the basis of their sex.

We call upon the Board of Trustees, student body, faculty, administration, and Regis community as a whole to expand the positive force Regis already is in the world and make the decision to admit young women to Regis.
