The idea to launch this petition follows a case I read about recently - here is a follow-up article. To me, Samatha is a queen!
Most women know what this is about:
You start talking to a seemingly nice guy, and suddenly he sends you a photo of his genital. Or even a series of photos. They think this is part of the introduction, like "Hi, I am James and this is my dick. I am a nice guy." No, James, you are being weird.
There are numerous articles why men tend to do this. But their primal instinct is no justification. To me this is sexual harassment and men need to be educated that we simply do not want their genitals in our inbox. (no pun intended)
And women: you do not have to shut up when someone harrasses you in this manner.
If a relationship grows, yes, probably partners will see each other naked at a given point, but this digital exhibitionism must stop. If you are not asked for genital or nude pics - do not send them!
You (probably) won't do it in the street, so do not do it online either.
