Turn Ohio into a great lake because no one likes Ohio!

Everyone knows Ohio is the worst state. Even Ohio people hate Ohio, that's why so many astronauts are from Ohio, they literally had to leave the planet to get away. The most logical way to get rid of this problem is to dig a massive hole in the ground in the property currently owned by Ohio, connect it to the Mississippi and other surrounding rivers, and allow it to fill up with water. Ohio will then be a great lake wich is connected to the ocean via river, making it a huge business opportunity for the surrounding states. Ohio citizens will have the opportunity to repent of their ways and join Kentucky if they so choose, if they do not they will be deported to Mexico or forced to drown. This is a massive project, but it must happen within the next 10 years to spare the next generation of a world with Ohio.
