We are urging the Westby City Council to reconsider their vote to close The Cat Lounge Adoption Room located at Treasures on Main Resale & Antiques, located in Westby, Wisconsin.
This adoption service has provided care, spacious accommodations, medication, spaying/neutering services, as well as increased exposure for adoption for all surrendered and lost cats of Westby and the surrounding areas, as well as CASA (Crawford Area Shelter for Animals) for many years.
We urge the Westby City Council to change their vote and accept their Planning Board's recommendation to allow the owner a conditional use permit for their Cat Lounge and continue their valuable service to the community.

If you are from Westby and signed the Petition in support, can we ask that you contact the Mayor and your City Council members? This is what they have claimed they need to hear, that Westby residents support The Cat Lounge. We need your voice more than ever Westby residents! Thank you so much to everyone who signed the petition and showed their support for The Cat Lounge. Although the city of Westby dismissed your voice if you were not a resident of Westby, we did not! We are so appreciative of those who spoke up for something wonderful in the world. If you are considering adopting, there are a dozen cats who will need to leave The Cat Lounge this month due to the City's decision. Again, thank you!
