Rising Health Care costs put many people at risk, especially seniors and people between 40 and 65. We must fight to have our health care costs evaluated and REDUCED. Cost of living in Hawaii is already too high and our wages are too low!!
Please make a difference. HELP our families. Help to lower the rising cost of health care in Hawaii for all of us. Living wages are not enough. Our people are suffering. There are more homeless every day. The older we get the higher the health care cost BUT this is the time when you need health care the most. It doesn't make sense. Now, the working population is growing in numbers for people over 60. The fact that healthcare coverage is available at a much lower rate in the workplace has seniors working well into their 70's. The demands and stress of any job in senior years also has an impact on health. Also, we have a large number of seniors on the islands and not enough jobs to support them. Most employers don't want to employ seniors as the companies pay more out of pocket in health care expenses just to keep seniors in the workplace. The children of these elders must pick up where health care leaves off and care for their parents. While also working full time this produces higher expenses for the families, creating more stress, and impacting their own health. HELP our families, help our loved ones, help our seniors. REDUCE health care costs in Hawaii.
