Willie Simmons a Army Veteran was sentenced to Life in prison under Alabama Habitual Offender Act for Stealing $9 worth of items.

I started this Petition in order to demand his release.

Let's take into consideration that he served our Country and came back home addicted to drugs. The sacrifice our Vets make sometimes lead to this because of the PTSD they suffer from the things they experienced during WAR.

Yes he has 2 prior convictions, but don't let that stand in the way of whats right. He has done his time. He has been locked up for 38yrs.. That means he been there since he was 25.

Enough is Enough, and it's up to us to bring him home.
