animal abuse incidents in the Dong District's Gao-dong neighborhood. But they still haven't found the culprit.
Since July,
stray cats have been found with a horrific array of injuries, most related to apparent burnings. Three cats were discovered in a single parking lot,
burned so badly that their eyes, noses, and ears were barely recognizable. Many of the rescued cats didn't even make it,
