Stop The Closing of Dove Hill Elementary School

We have to fight to keep our Elementary School open, please sign this petition. If we care about this school and where are children go then this should be our Priority. The District has sent out emails about having meetings in regard to opening a new Elementary School. What they failed to tell us was that in the process Dove Hill would be closing. If they are allowed to close this school over the next few years our children will suffer the consequences.

They will not receive new I Pads for learning or new books because why would the District spend the money on the kids if the school is allowed to be close. The people that suffer most are our students. This is not good moral for the teachers either they now have to worry about being unemployed and having to find a new job. It is my understanding that they want to close the school because there are empty classrooms, but there is a wait list of students who's parents would like for them to go to Dove Hill. Why hasn't the wait list been opened so that new students can come and fill the empty classrooms.

As parent this should be something that we act upon and not stand by and watch them close a school that we all love. Along with the amazing teachers that Dove Hill has. I ask that you take a stand and sign this petition and fight for Dove Hill to stay open.
