Dear Iceland: Sorry We Elected an Idiot

Dear Iceland: Your country is beautiful, you've been a great friend and ally for longer than most Americans have been alive, and we thank you.

Unfortunately, our president is an idiot.  

And he's been doing idiotic stuff, like posting maps with the U.S. flag superimposed over Iceland, tacitly threatening invasion, etc.

Yes, he's an idiot who routinely mixes up Iceland and Greenland, and odds are he'd probably send the invasion force to Ireland.  But still, we can understand why this would still be very disturbing, and why you summoned the U.S. ambassador to make that point in person.  

So on behalf of the American people, please know that we are 100% against an invasion, and we are sorry that we elected this idiot, and we hope to replace him as soon as possible.
