No Vote for Proposed Development on 36-48 Lambert St & 67 Cairns St, Kangaroo Point

The Proposed Development by Metro SPV5 Pty Ltd for the Multi Unit Dwellings (253 Units) adjoining a Heritage Place - 22 Storeys plus Roof Top Terrace and Plant Level should not be approved for the following reasons: 
- 22 Storey plus Roof Top Terrace and Plant Level far exceeds the current maximum height on the Kangaroo Point Local Plan Building Height. Therefore the application does not meet Performance Criteria P3 of the Brisbane City Plan "New buildings must maintain views to and from the Story Bridge and must not extend significantly above the skyline envelope formed by linking the tops of existing or prospective buildings in the vicinity that comply with the associated Acceptable Solutions, or are of a 
size and bulk consistent with the high density nature of the locality and of a residential scale providing a visual relationship with other buildings on the city skyline".
Views of the Storey Bridge from the Story Apartments will be blocked by this building.
