Free The Fresh Pond

Please help me ask the Kill Devil Hills and Nags Head Towns and Boards of Commissioners to Free The Fresh Pond. This magnificent 27 Acre pond has not been a factor in the Dare County water supply since 1980. Thirty-Five (35) years is far too long to have such a precious natural resource be kept under lock and key and out of reach of the citizenry.

The Pond could be easily accessed from the Satterfield Landing Park located off Clark Street in Nags Head.

Free the Fresh Pond!
