Eighty-nine people die from gun violence in the US every day.

From school children, to victims of domestic violence, to people going about their daily lives, no one is safe from the bullet. This status quo is unacceptable.

As we mourn the lives of those killed in Orlando--and in so many other incidents of gun violence across the nation--we need to take action. Part of our healing must be the conviction that we will do everything in our power to keep tragedies like this from happening again.
