loseing your loved ones

Imagine spending time with your first grandchild unaware that custody proceedings are almost finished .it took 3months for a fostergrandparent to gain nonpatental custody of my native and enrolled grandchild .
active efforts was a statement by fostergrandparent Nalani does not qualify as an icwa child ..nothing further was ever mentioned again to the native grandparents nor the tribe Nalani is enrolled in .its been 2 years now and all i do is wonder does Nalani think we dont want her anymore ?
