Honor Stagecoach Mary with a memorial stamp!

Ask the US Postal Service to create a memorial stamp recognizing the accomplishment of the first female African American mail carrier, Mary Fields (aka Stagecoach Mary).

Mary Fields was born a slave in Tennessee in 1832, and she overcame great adversity and got hired by the Postal Service in 1895 at 60 years of age. She was chosen for the position because off all the applicants, she was the fastest at hitching a team of six horses.

Stagecoach Mary was beloved by the members of her town, and she never missed a day of delivering mail. The US Postal Service should honor the brave and dedicated mail carrier and create a memorial stamp to educate Americans on the US Postal Service's history and diversity.
