Demand that the Crossings at Canton Moves or Shuts Down!

Whether you've driven by the huge eyesore on 275 and Joy, seen the Section 8 residents panhandling throughout various parts of Canton and Plymouth, witnessed the multiple forms of illegal activity that occur there and at nearby surroundings, or like us - we're completely conned into signing a lease agreement and then we're forced to deal with inhabitable properties, constant sound abuse, crime committing, disrespect and child abusing neighbors and/or other awful occurrences due to this totally inappropriate neighborhood, PLEASE take the time to sign this petition so that the city gas leverage to SHUT IT DOWN or force them to relocate.

It's a shame that this neighborhood alone caused the city of Canton, and neighboring Plymouth, SO many legitimate problems for all other residents who desire a clean and safe community. There are Section 8 residents who spend as little as $20 per month for an apartment. But there are also others enticed to live in the city, and whom are hardworking, commendable, tax paying citizens, who get totally swindled by this incredibly unethical organization. And once you sign, you are stuck. The then bill which would be required for an attorney to file a lawsuit, etc, outweighs the consequences of the alternative.

All of this needs to stop!!!! Canton was the SAFEST city in the state of Michigan for YEARS up until the Crossings began accepting Section 8, and the crime levels shot up. Please help us in getting our once safe community back!!!
