Demand traffic lights installation before more lives lost

We, the undersigned, are seriously concerned about the safety of the Parkmore road and Springvale road intersection in Forest Hill.

A fatal collision occured at this intersection on the 21st of December 2014, when the driver turned right from Parkmore road into Springvale road; it is also unsafe to make a right hand turn into Parkmore road from Springvale road or a U-turn.

The situation is exacerbated by buses that use Parkmore road and the motorists entering/exiting Shell petrol station and the strip mall.

We petition for the traffic lights to be installed ASAP to regulate the chaos and prevent further accidents.

your involvement has been wonderful and we have an excellent news to report: the intersection will be modified and the proposed work will be completed before Christmas 2016!
