I am asking residents of the City of Seymour and Baylor County to help me gain approval for the placement of Tiny Homes on the property that I own. Proper procedure was not followed by Code Enforcement during the disbursement of written consent to residents within 200 feet of said property.
Section 25, Amendments, of City of Seymour, Texas Ordinance NO.-- Part D, Hearings and Notices states " Written notice of all public hearings on proposed changes in district boundaries shall be sent to all owners of property, or to the person rending the same for city taxes, located within the area of application and within two hundred feet of any property affected thereby, within not less than ten days before such hearing is held. Such notices may be served by using the last known address as listed on the latest approved city tax roll and depositing the notice, postage paid, in the United States mail.
I know, matter of factly, that this was not executed because I, myself, live within the two hundred feet distance and never received any such written notice; as well as a handful of other residents.
