Protect our family pets and protect property owners rights

Town of Mooresville public hearing on appeal to regulate agricultural use classification and the ability to keep certain animals in residential district.

We have had our two pet goats for over 1 year on our two acres. Our neighbors filed a complaint with the Town of Mooresville stating we are using our property for agricultural purposes.

The Town found that we were compliant with Town ordinance. The neighbors filed an Appeal of Administrative Decision.

Please sign our petition to keep the current ordinance as is. Our goats are pets and a part of our family. They are quiet and certainly not a bothersome animal. They help eat the leaves in the fall and clear brush the whole year. We love our pet goats and can’t imagine loosing them.
