Keep Andrew Jackson on the $20 Bill

Petitions are being signed all over to remove Andrew Jackson from the $20 bill and no one has come forward to defend him. As a female currently going to university to become a historian on our seventh president, I am asking for your help to keep his legacy alive. A lot of people are saying that he was racist and caused an Indian genocide, yet I argue that any president in that time would have done the same thing in the circumstances given. He was the first democratic president, considered the people's president, the first president from a "western" state and considered a magnificent war hero with his win during the war of 1812 at The Battle of New Orleans. Please help keep our seventh president on the $20 bill and spread the history of this great country. Thank you for your time.
