Campaign to bring back our 'We Got Soul' Radio show

The final show of We Got Soul went out on 2 April 2012 & was axed by BBC Radio Northampton. The station broadcasts over 100 hours of live shows a week, of that we get just one hour a week & that is being axed.

This is the petition is for the friends of BBC Radio Northampton’s ‘We Got Soul’ show. 

The show hit the airwaves at 7pm on Monday 8th January 2007 with original presenter Paddy Grady and Jon Riatt playing a selection of classic Tamla Motown, Stax, Atlantic along with 70’s soul and a good mixture of Northern Soul. In May 2009 Jon left to go on secondment to BBC’s 6Music station and his place was taken up by Paul ‘Gadders’ Gadsby.

Other guest presenters who have been on the show from Radio Northampton are; Bernie Keith, Geoff Doyle & Richard Savage.

The show was on every Monday evening between 7pm – 8pm on BBC Radio Northampton 104.2fm & 103.6fm. presented by Paddy Grady and Gadders.
