Demand a refund for PT 734 and PT 735 Adult Neurology course.

As a study body of the class of 2017 in the Simmons College Doctorate of Physical Therapy Program we are petitioning for a refund in the following courses: PT 734 and PT 735. The students feel this refund is necessary due to the following circumstances:
- Plagiarized lecture materials
- Incorrect content material
- Misuse of terminology resulting in misinformation
- Extreme lack of hands on lab skills
- Professor lectured on topics outside of her scope of practice and making up information if not confident in the material.
- Reading directly from the slides (we could do this on our own time)
- If unable to answer questions or clarify information that was more intuitive and in depth than the slides, she would construct an answer or talk around the answer, rather than admitting she didn't know it.
- A lot of material was out of our scope of practice and did not relate well to the Physical Therapy profession.
- Examinations and practicals did not reflect or further develop our clinical decision making skills in the Neurology sector of Physical Therapy practice.

As a result of these above complaints we feel we deserve a refund for a portion of these courses due to learning the vast majority of this information on our own and lack of guidance from the professor. As future doctoring profession we do not feel confident in this content and skill area due to the large amounts of misinformation and errors that were made during this course. We do not feel comfortable or confident to approach this professor with questions or concerns about this area of expertise for further guidance due to lack of trust.
