In outrageous news, 25 people in Florida have been charged in a scheme for selling fake nursing diplomas. Thanks to this scheme, there are currently over 7,600 people who received fake nursing diplomas and transcripts treating patients.

The fake diplomas were sold for up to $15,000 by three South Florida nursing schools. While the specific locations these nurses were hired to work at haven't been revealed, it's known that they are employed in various hospitals and healthcare institutions in Maryland, Georgia, Ohio, New York, and New Jersey.
The National Council of State Boards of Nursing says they are working with nursing regulators in the affected states to find the nurses with fake diplomas, but we must make sure they are careful to strip every unearned license.
"What is disturbing about this investigation is that there are over 7,600 people around the country with fraudulent nursing credentials who are potentially in critical health care roles treating patients," said an FBI agent investigating the case.
