ExxonMobil oil spill, recorded on 9 November 2012, caused up to 200,000 barrels of oil, spilled on the Atlantic coast in the Gulf of Guinea, in the Niger Delta. ExxonMobil lies to people, insults and abuses the local community when people raise questions about the spill. ExxonMobil is hurting local people who are powerless. The oil spill has caused extensive damage to the tropical rain forest and marine life. Local people have become impoverished by the oil spill, creating major human crises and environmental crises. This crises arises due to oil spills that affects the soil nutrients, loss of aquatic life and mangroves. Sign this petition to force ExxonMobil to clean up Eket Beach, to stop destroying the environment, to stop hurting the local people.
