Abuse on social media

I believe that Facebook should be able to modify some language and hateful comments, if you have posted a reasonable point, and replies come back in abuse? Has anyone posted in reply to a news story, e.g. That Donald Trump is now the big Candidate to challenge Hilary Clingon for election to President of the USA, I did, and though some debate was reasonable, some was racist, and abusive. I do not believe in this being allowed when it goes too far. I belief in free speech, but not abusive speech
