Why should men be paid more than women?

Figures show that men do get paid more than women.Research finds women paid less than men in 90% of sectors.Should this be right?
No I don't think so.
My reason for this is that women should be paid the same amount of money for the same jobs that the men do.
I think that this is unfair because there is no law in the book which says that men should be paid more
