Stronger punishment for animal abusers in Canada

The Canadian laws for animal cruelty need to be updated now. Any human being that could harm an innocent animal would most likely have no regard for our innocent children either. These individuals need to be delivered stronger punishments for these crimes. Please change these Canadian laws and get these criminals off the streets and in jail where they belong.
