Demand to lower the speeding limit due to having children living along the street riding their bikes

There are children living all around curly Mill Road that ride your bike to and from their friends house and there are elderly people as well. There are residents that walk their pets and there are residents that run to exercise and people are driving over 50 miles an hour down our street when the speed limit is 40. It is a residential neighborhood not a Thruway. People on this road pay taxes dearly and they deserve to have a safe place to be able to do their daily activities with their families. We should not have to dodge vehicles driving over the speed limit we should be able to stroll up our street without being in fear of being hit by a car. There are never cops on our street patrolling in the speed limit is not controlled. We are fed up with the way people drive through our neighborhood. It is not safe. Our pets get hit by cars.... If one of us or our children get hit by a car the county will pay dearly.
