Oregon has started a massive Old-Growth tree cutting program that destroys Spotted Owl habitat. In order to cover up the truth about this violation, Oregon is allowing the Federal Government to kill Oregon’s Barred Owl, claiming falsely that the Barred Owl are killing the Spotted Owl to extinction. Barred Owls will kill the Spotted Owl as well as other birds. However claiming the Barred Owl as the main reason Spotted Owls are in decline as the reason for killing them, is not the truth.
The truth is, it is the cutting of the Old Growth Trees that have been and still are killing the Spotted Owl.
Demand that Oregon stop the cutting of their Old Growth trees and the killing of the Barred Owl! The killing of this owl is nothing more than a smoke screen to cover up the unethical logging of Spotted Owl habitat. It is bad science.
