PROTEST Prescribing of Premarin (Horse Cruelty & Slaughter)
Protest to doctors still prescribing Premarin,Prempro, and Premphase to menopausal women despite the fact that alternative drugs which do not involve the torture and slaughtering of horses are readily available.
We, the undersigned, ask that you begin to prescrible to your patients the highly effective alternatives to Premarin, Prempro, and Premphase. The aforementioned drugs have resulted in the unnecessary cruelty and slaughter of hundreds of thousands of horses in the United States and Canada since they were put on the market. Since there are such effective alternative drugs not requiring the urine of pregnant mares, it seems barbaric to continue to prescribe these medications. Surely most of your patients would prefer a drug which was not derived in such a horrible manner.
