Tell Texas to stop the ban on gay and bisexual foster parents

We, the undersigned, are of the opinion that refusing to allow gay and bisexual individuals from becoming foster parents to children in the state's care is both discriminatory to the individuals as well as a grave disservice to children in foster care. There is no evidence that an individual's/couples' bisexuality or homosexuality impair their ability to be a loving, responsible, caring parent in any way; in fact, scientific studies suggest that gay parents are less likely to abuse the children in their care than heterosexual parents are. Cease this legal discrimination and act in the best interests of the children!
