Tell Sonic: Get Sugary Fruit Punch out of Kids Meals!

As parents, we look to companies to back up healthy choices for our families. So why does Sonic still offer sugary drinks like "fruit" punch as a default drink in kids meals?

In recent years, Burger King, Wendy’s, iHop, Applebees and more have all removed soda as the default drink in kids meals. This really helps parents out, as we strive to keep our kids and families healthy. Let’s be real: no amount of “saying no” can counteract the constant wave of junk food coming at our kids.

Sonic removed soda too - yay! - but still has fruit punch on the menu, which is as sugary as soda (without the fizz). Boo.

Sugary drinks are the largest source of added sugars in the US diet, and the third largest source of calories for kids age 2 and over. At a time when our kids are facing a real epidemic of nutrition-related diseases, this is a big deal.

Join us to tell Sonic: back parents up! Show our kids that you care by getting sugary fruit punch off the kids menu.

Thank you.
