You'd have to see it to believe it. Trump-loving Republicans have clustered in the streets to protest social distancing orders that have been recommended by the president, and they're doing it with the blessing of the same president.
This is all happening in the middle of a deadly pandemic, which they are not only exacerbating with their reckless behavior — they're endangering themselves!
Think that's hyperbole? Think again. In Kentucky, Governor Andy Beshear's early intervention and social distancing guidelines kept outbreaks minimal. But that was before conservatives rushed to Easter services then clustered themselves in protest of the governor.
Just days later and one week after Easter, new cases of coronavirus reached a new high in the commonwealth. This is not a coincidence.
It's also not an accident. Trump's supporters are actively interfering with healthcare workers efforts to save lives, going so far as to block access to a Michigan hospital and forcing some heroic nurses to put their bodies in the protesters' paths in Colorado.
Nurses should not have to resort to this. These idiots who are endangering themselves and others would stop if Trump and his GOP enablers would simply tell them to abide by their own guidelines instead of recklessly calling for them to "LIBERATE" states.
Enough is enough! Demand Trump and the GOP tell their idiot supporters to stop endangering us all with their stupid, self-destructive protests!
