All over the country, abortion opponents are quietly passing laws based on lies that make it more difficult for women to access abortion care.

Anti-abortion politicians in Ohio passed legislation that forced doctors to provide government-written materials and counseling designed to discourage women from having the procedure. Ohio also requires women to make two trips to a clinic and wait 24 hours before the procedure is provided. These are just some of the laws designed to push necessary health care out of reach.

We cannot allow laws based on on lies to continue restricting women’s access to a safe and legal procedure that the constitution protects.
