"Grandparent's Rights" should not exist..

Grandparents have no rights derived from common law or any constitution to visit their grandchildre. Such laws are a violation of the rights of fit parents and their children under the U.S. Constitution. State laws permiting so called "grandparent's rights" must be repealed.
It is well recognized that parents have a fundamental right to the care custody and control of their children. This includes the right to determine with whom their children will associate (for the children's own good).

State legislatures have passed laws in recent years allowing grandparents and other third parties, to get court ordered visitation over the objections of fit parents. These laws have no basis in the Common Law or any of our Constitutions. They are a license -- not a right.

The emotional and financial cost to families has been horrendous. Use of thes laws is actually nothing more than a vehicle for abuse.

The higher courts are beginning to recognize the complete lack of any sane justification for these laws and strike them down. It is time the legislatures repealed them.
