Insecurity. Diseases. Even death. Children and the old; all suffering from the negligence of the govermental and local authorities in providing protection, medication and, most importantly, water and food.
Weeks before, a terrible phenomenon devastated the Coast of Peru. Locally known as "HUAICOS", these FLASH FLOODS caused by heavy rains are DESTROYING EVERYTHING on their way. From houses to drowning both animals and humans, they do not only destroy but also isolate communities and spread mortal diseases.
These people have lost their homes, friends and familiars. The streets are flooded with water.
Many tried to find a way to survive, but with the animals DEAD and DECOMPOSING in the water and the food getting INFECTED by the INSECTS, its almost impossible.
These poor people now live in poor conditions, suffering from HUNGER and THRIST.
FRIENDS. FELLOWS. I call for you to sign this petition in order for the Government to SENT MEDICAL AID (MEDICAL EMERGENCY TEAM) with the ADECUATE EQUIPMENT and KNOWLEDGE to treat sprungs of illnesses like:
- ZIKA or DENGUE and other VECTOR-BORNE (Transmited by insects) Diseases.
-MALNUTRITION, DEHYDRATATION, IRON DEFICENCY, VITAMIN (A) MALNOURISHMENT , IRODAN DEFICENCY.
-Illnesses like PNEUMONIA and WEATHER-RELATED diseases.
-E.COLI and other WATER-BORNE organisms and bacteria.
-Water-borne diseases. I.E.: Guinea Worm disease, Cholera and Tapeworm.
-Common illnesses AND MEDICATION FOR ALL OF THE MENTIONED ABOVE AND HERE.
