Animals cannot speak up for themselves, so we have to. Every year, Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Los Angeles, spcaLA, protects tens of thousands of abused, abandoned, and neglected animals right here in Southern California, all because someone like you chose to "speak" for them.

Pledge to use your voice by:

-Reporting animal cruelty
-Spaying or neutering your pets
-Adopting from a local animal shelter
-Supporting local animal welfare organizations
-Asking your elected officials to support humane legislation

spcaLA was started in 1877 to protect those who were most easily abused and considered property: women, children, and animals. We were the first voice for the voiceless in Los Angeles, and today we continue to prevent cruelty to animals through Education, Law Enforcement, Intervention, and Advocacy.
