We believe everyone deserves the right to marry the person they love.

However, we're still seeing same-sex relationships publicly compared to bestiality, slavery and child abuse by opponents of equal marriage.

There have been some great political victories in the fight for equal marriage so far, but there's still a long way to go before Britain's 3.7 million lesbian, gay and bisexual people can enjoy this last measure of equality.

The Marriage (Same-Sex Couples) Bill is now in the House of Lords where a vocal minority seek to derail it with disastrous changes, including allowing public servants to refuse to serve gay people and banning teachers from talking about gay relationships in school.
