Force absent fathers or mothers to pay the maintenance they should pay for the upbringing of their children

Many absent parents do not pay anything towards the upbringing of their children. In fact many parents pretend that they live apart which enables the carer to receive benefits when in fact their partner or spouse actually lives with them. This is costing the benefits agency and the tax payer considerable amounts of money and defrauding the hard working and caring parents out of untold Millions or Billions of pounds each year. Absent or not, every absent parent should be forced to pay up to support their children and the funds that are in the benefit system can be used properly in other areas desparate for funding such as social care for the elderly
