Kids Need Access To Quality, Educational Programming

From Big Bird to Arthur, Clifford to Curious George, public broadcasting is home to some of the most educational and most beloved kids programs today. Even as it gets harder for parents to protect their children from endless advertising, public broadcasting provides reliable, educational and commercial-free television.

Parents across the New York tri-state area know just how valuable the educational programs on THIRTEEN are, but these programs are at risk as Washington continues to threaten unprecedented cuts in federal funding for public broadcasting.

Parents worry enough about their children's futures. They shouldn't also have to worry about losing the tremendous educational opportunity public broadcasting provides.

We need to protect intelligent, commercial free programs like Sesame Street, Clifford and beyond. Sign the pledge today and stand up for public television. Don't let budget cuts take educational programming from children of the New York tri-state area!
