BU Students Against RateBU.com

As members of the Boston University student body, we wish to have this website pulled down. It is not only degrading to the women of BU, but is also a major invasion to privacy and to one's own self confidence. Living in the 21st century should allow women the safety of not being judged for their outward appearance.

We the undersigned wish to have RateBU.com immediately pulled from the internet. We believe that students, be they female or male, should be able to attend school and engage in social media without having their privacy invaded and having their appearances judged.

We understand that there was both time and effort put forth by the creator, but believe that it is for the good of the student body to have the website removed.

Thank you for taking the time to read this petition. We hope that you will consider our proposition.
