Tell the Supreme Court: Stop Blocking Climate Action

The time for talk on climate change is over. After a historic meeting of world leaders in Paris, President Obama issued a bold plan to reduce the dangerous effects of carbon pollution. The EPA's Clean Power Plan had already begun working with states to reduce dangerous carbon pollution from power plants and transition to safer, cleaner renewable energy.

But Republicans backed by the fossil fuel industry are trying desperately to stop it – and it's working. The Supreme Court's conservative majority put a temporary halt to the Clean Power Plan, possibly stalling it until President Obama leaves office. It's an unparalleled act of judicial overreach – and a slap in the face to our president. It must be lifted immediately to let him carry out the policies he was elected to implement.
