Halloween is evolving from a time when kids enjoy tricks and treats - to an opportunity for kids here to help kids around the world while they enjoy Halloween festivities.
Children who take part in Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF not only open their bags for candy, they also hold out containers to collect coins for children in need around the world, in places like Darfur.
Today, Halloween means more than candy, costumes, ghosts and goblins. With your pledge to support kids participating in the Unicef Trick-Or-Treat program, it can mean vaccines, clean water and improved nutrition for less fortunate children.
Pledge to make Halloween more meaningful this year by supporting the UNICEF Trick-or-Treaters when they come knocking.
This Halloween season I pledge to support kids helping kids in countries like Darfur, by getting the young people in my life involved with "Trick or Treat UNICEF," and/or giving my coins to the kids who are participating in the program when they trick or treat at my door.
