We, the citizens of Canada, petition the federal government to ban access to the website perezhilton.com.  This website perpetuates a materialistic and asinine obsession with celebrity figures which, in turn, impedes the knowledge of important world issues that are pertinent to our young people.  In a culture where consuming resources has become an alarming reality, individuals such as Perez Hilton check awareness and understanding, both vital facets of moving forward in a socially progressive and conscious world.
