The MACS program has just been extended in length for the 2014 cohort: MRP is now 4 terms, thesis is 6 terms. The administration did not grandfather this in for all currently enrolled students/cohorts. The new 2014 program guidelines DO NOT require more effort, work or commitment. This is simply a correction to the structure of the program--the current shorter structure is unreasonable and unfair. The administration has realized this, yet they are blindly refusing to acknowledge that NOT grandfathering this for all CURRENT students is unfair, unjust and unkind. The MACS program is BUILT on anti-oppressive thought. How hypocritical then is this unjust treatment of their own scholars? PUSH FOR MACS EQUITY. It is ours for the taking, we have a right to fair education and equal consideration. STAND UP FOR YOUR RIGHTS, YOUR PASSiON, YOUR FUTURE.
